About Our Diva In Charge: Arlette Guerra!
If we were doing a "ballet congress," Arlette would be the prima ballerina!
Born in the Dominican Republic, raised in and a resident of New York City, Arlette Guerra is a veteran of the Salsa performance circuit. She began her career more than 10 years ago, training under Osmar Perrones, founder of world-famous Yamuleé, at the famed Santo Rico Dance School. After a number of years, she joined fellow Santo Rico dancer Victor Mayovanex as a principal dancer of Karisma Dance Company.|
As a member of one of the most respected international Salsa dance and performance companies, Arlette has traveled to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, the Americas and across the USA. Professionally, she has graced the stage for Salsa royalty, including Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor Manuelle, Grupo Niche and Oscar D'Leon, the ACE Awards (Asociación de Cronistas de Espectáculos de Nueva York), the United Nations and government functions by Hillary Rodham Clinton (2002) and President Barrack Obama (2010). Arlette has branched out and expanded her presence in the Salsa Dance circuit by teaming up with Carlos Hernández, a former Yamuleé and Karisma pro member. Since their first debut performance at NJISC2011, "Carlos & Arlette" have quickly become a power dance couple, sought by Salsa congresses and festivals. As our Diva in Charge, Arlette will share her personal style, stage experience, unique choreography (Imágenes de Karisma) and exhuberant sensuality with 40 lucky ladies at NJISC2012! |

You get a souvenir badge commemorating your participation in the 2012 Ladies Immersion Program. Please note that it is a separate (NOT included in the Full or VIP Congress Passes) but highly recommended purchase! The current price is $100.00 ($75.00 with the purchase of a Full Standard Congress Pass, VIP Congress Pass or 3-Night Pass). Price after January 31, 2012 will increase to $115.00.
