His rare and impeccable taste in the various forms of Salsa not only draws the usual crowds from all over Ohio and nearby Pittsburgh, but from the Midwest, East Coast and Canada. A true rare vinyl collector, Efraín has performed at various events throught the USA and Canada, including the DC Salsa Congress, Cincinnati Salsa Festival and the Toronto Salsa Festival.

From his hometown in Chicago, Fania Records Official DJ, El Caobo hosts and plays at 2 of the Windy City's most popular Salsa events: 2nd Thursday Mambo Mayhem and the Sibon-MMA Mambo Social, where he brings to avid dancers his eclectic selection of Salsa, Mambo, Guanguancó, Cha-Cha-Cha and Latin Jazz.

El Caobo has been a featured DJ for a number of events including the St. Louis International Salsa Congress the Chicago Salsa Congress, the Chicago Salsa Festival and Chicago's largest Latin Music Festival, ¡VIVA! Chicago.

As the source of pure Salsa music in the Chicago Metro area, El Caobo hosts 2 radio shows dedicated to Salsa and Tropical Music at the Illinois Institute of Technology, WIIT 88.9 FM (10 years) and at the University of Chicago, WHPK 88.5 FM (3 years). Both shows are called Radio Salsa Clásica / El Tornado Tropical con El Caobo and stream live on the Internet.

A Philadelphia native, Sugar is one of the elder statesmen in the Philly Salsa Scene. He has played in a number of regional and national events, including the New York International Salsa Congress, San Diego Salsa Festival and the Pura Vintage Salsa Social other regional events in the Northeast. An avid Salsa collector and historian, Sugar has the pulse of the crowd wherever he goes. Sugar has also been an integral member of the Jersey Congress as one of our Master of Ceremonies for NJISC2010 and NJISC2011. He returns for double duty for NJISC2012.

Originally from Buenos Aires, and now a New Jersey/New York City resident, Alejandro runs 2 of the most successful dance events in the city: Latin Sundays at Las Chicas Locas and Bachatéame Mama at Club Caché. As a DJ and Promoter, he has brought the Casino and Salsa Community together. Having a music collection that covers everything from Salsa Romantica and Salsa dura to Hardcore Timba, passing by an amazing Bachata Collection. He consistently packs every night he plays at each venue. Alejandro is also a featured instructor at NJISC2012.

NJISC2012 is DJ Alejandro's third appearance at the New Jersey International Salsa Congress.

Originally from Caracas, and now a New Jersey resident, Ricky has played various venues in Central NJ, including the 360 Lounge, Rumbatela DJ's Salsa Social, the Scarlet Mambo Salsa Social and Perlé. He has played in regional Salsa events, most recently the Philadephia Salsa Fest 2011.

As a dance performer and aspiring musician, Ricky is truly a diamond in the rough, versed in both Salsa dura y clásica as well as Bachata, he is one of the most capable dee jays keeping dancers on the floor without missing a beat.
